Thank You, Andrew Dwyer

We’d like to share a big thank you to Andrew Dwyer, who is stepping down from his role as Secretary of LonGBoaT Wakefield.

Andrew has been with us from our days as a Constituted Community Group through to becoming a registered charity.

Over the years, he’s been a vital part of the team, bringing experience, dedication, and ideas to the table. One of his lasting contributions was helping to shape and launch our Rainbow Lottery project, which continues to support our work today.

While we’ll miss Andrew in his official role, we’re not saying goodbye! You’ll still find him at our Thursday Night Trivia Quiz at the New Union and joining us at other social events.

We wish Andrew all the very best for what comes next and thank him for everything he’s helped us build.
