At LonGBoaT Wakefield, we understand that family experiences within the LGBT+ community can be unique, and finding a space to share and connect is invaluable. That’s why we are excited to introduce the LGBT+ Parents Group at the Hub, a dedicated space for parents to find support, understanding, and community.
This bimonthly group offers a space for both parents of LGBT+ children and individuals with LGBT+ parents, ensuring that everyone has a chance to engage with a supportive network that truly understands their experiences.
Meeting Schedule:
🗓 Parents of LGBT+ Children – 1st Tuesday of every month
🗓 People with LGBT+ Parents – 2nd Tuesday of every month
📍 Location: The Hub, Wakefield Kirkgate
These sessions provide a chance to talk openly, share resources, and build friendships with others who relate to your journey. We welcome your ideas and suggestions on how these groups can evolve to best support you.
