Cancelled: EDI Job Fair

Unfortunately, LonGBoaT Wakefield have had to take the difficult decision to cancel the EDI Jobs & Careers Fair on the 10th June 2025 due to a low uptake of stalls at the event.

Many organisations that we have spoken with or contacted have informed us that they are unable to commit to this event at this time.  We can only presume that the recent events, media, and rhetoric have had an impact on this.  We are seeing a lot of previous supporters of LGBT+ and EDI changing their support and funding. 

Considering this I would like to offer my thanks for your support in these difficult times, and we will keep you updated on any events.  We really believe that an EDI Jobs & Careers fair is good for the community, and we had received quite a bit of interest and therefore may be able to revisit this at a later date.
