The Hub Drop In Session

Looking for a welcoming space to connect, learn, and engage with the LGBTQ+ community in Wakefield? Join us for our Hub Coffee Morning, held every Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM at Wakefield Kirkgate Railway Station. For full location details, visit our Visit Us page.

 

What’s On Offer?

Our weekly coffee mornings are a drop-in event designed to provide support, resources, and opportunities for connection. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Discuss Anything LGBT+: Whether you’re seeking advice, support, or just a friendly chat, our team is here for you.

  • Explore Resources: Browse our collection of materials from our peers in the charitable community to learn more about available support and services.

  • Access Peer Support: Connect with others in the community and share experiences in a safe, inclusive environment.

  • Learn About the Station Adoption Project: Discover how our community outreach initiative is revitalising Wakefield Kirkgate Railway Station and how you can get involved.

  • Volunteer Opportunities: Talk to us about joining our team and contributing to our mission.

  • Community Partnerships: Interested in working with LonGBoaT Wakefield? Let’s discuss potential collaborations.

  • Social Events & Trivia Night: Stay updated on our calendar of events, including our weekly trivia quiz and year-round social gatherings.

  • Support: Learn about our Queer Social, Parents Support Groups, and other initiatives tailored to meet the needs of our community. We are also a Hate Crime Reporting Center in partnership with West Yorkshire Police.
