About the event
Volunteers will be invited to come along and help with setting up and running a stall, offering information about what LonGBoaT do and what services we can provide, along with our partners that we can make referrals to. Merchandise will also be available for sale so managing stock and taking payments may also be required.
Wakefield Armed Forces Day 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, 4th July 2026, from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm at Pontefract Park. This free, family-friendly event features a veteran's parade, parachute displays, military vehicles, live music, and community stalls to celebrate and support local armed forces
